Getting Started
How do I create a FaithNudge account?
Visit the FaithNudge dashboard and click "Get Started." Enter your name, email, and church details. You'll receive a verification email to confirm your account. The entire process takes under 2 minutes.
Is FaithNudge really free?
Yes. The core FaithNudge platform is free to use - no trials and no credit card required to get started. All core features including member management, online giving, the mobile app, and AI-powered Nudges are included at no cost. SMS messaging is offered as a low-cost add-on to cover carrier texting fees.
How do I invite my team to FaithNudge?
Go to Dashboard > Settings > Team Members. Click "Invite Member," enter their email address, and assign a role (Admin, Editor, or Viewer). They'll receive an invitation email to join your organization.
Member Management
How do I add members to my church?
Navigate to People in the dashboard sidebar. Click "Add Person" and fill in their details. You can also import members in bulk using a CSV file from the People page.
Can members have family relationships?
Yes. When editing a member profile, use the Family section to link family members together. This helps with check-in, communication, and directory organization.
How do I create groups and ministries?
Go to Groups in the sidebar and click "Create Group." Set the name, description, type (Small Group, Ministry, Committee, etc.), and privacy settings. You can then add members and assign leaders.
Mobile App & Nudges
How do my members get the mobile app?
Members can download the FaithNudge app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). They sign in with their phone number or email and search for your church to connect.
What are Nudges and how do they work?
Nudges are AI-generated interactive activities based on your sermon content. When you upload a sermon, our AI creates quizzes, devotionals, discussion prompts, scripture deep dives, prayer guides, and faith challenges that are delivered to members throughout the week.
Can I review Nudges before they go live?
Yes. After uploading a sermon, the generated Nudges appear in your dashboard under App > Nudges. You can review, edit, or remove any activity before publishing it to your congregation.
Online Giving
How do I set up online giving?
Go to Giving in the dashboard sidebar and follow the Stripe Express onboarding flow. You'll verify your church's identity and connect a bank account. Once approved, your members can give online via the mobile app or your church website.
What payment methods are supported?
FaithNudge supports credit/debit cards and ACH bank transfers through Stripe. Members can also set up recurring donations on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule.
How do I generate tax statements?
Navigate to Giving > Reports. You can generate annual giving statements for individual donors or export giving data for your records. Statements include all donations with dates, amounts, and fund designations.
Church Website
How do I build my church website?
Go to Website in the dashboard sidebar. Choose a starting template or start from scratch. Use the drag-and-drop builder to add blocks for hero sections, text, images, events, sermons, and more. Publish when you're ready.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. In Website > Settings > Domain, enter your custom domain and follow the DNS configuration instructions. We provide free SSL certificates for all custom domains.
Does the website update automatically?
Dynamic blocks like Events and Sermons pull live data from your dashboard. When you add a new event or sermon in the dashboard, it automatically appears on your website.
Communication
How do I send an email to my congregation?
Go to Communications in the dashboard. Click "New Message," select Email as the channel, choose your recipients (all members, a specific group, or a custom list), compose your message using the visual editor, and send.
Can I set up automated communication flows?
Yes. Use Communication Flows to create multi-step automated sequences. For example, create a "New Member Welcome" flow that sends an email on day 1, a follow-up on day 3, and an SMS on day 7.
How do push notifications work?
Push notifications are sent through the FaithNudge mobile app. You can send notifications from Communications in the dashboard. Members must have the app installed and notifications enabled on their device.
